Hey gang! As you may have noticed, I've been slightly more active lately. Autumn/winter is my favorite time to cook and bake.

So, to kick things off, is there anything (preferably Asian) that you've always wanted to know how to make? Something you've seen in an anime or on TV?

Melonpan may or may not be on the way depending on how lazy I am (>.>), but what other baked goods have caught your fancy? Any bento or Japanese food that you'd like a tutorial for?

I can't promise I'll get around to everyone's requests, but I'll try to post some recipes and how-to's this next month based on your requests.

So I finally decided to take advantage of dA's nifty portfolio feature. It's really a lot of fun and I am more than pleased that it exists.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Life has been busy, but I'm sure you could have guessed that.

Anyway. I found a place to buy bento boxes in bulk for pretty cheap. As in, a bento box could cost something from $3-$12 depending on the one you want (shipping not included). So how many people are interested in purchasing one? If enough of you guys are interested, we can work something out and I'll get them.

The cheapest ones are the "Happy Balloons" pieces (blue version here: sake-bento.deviantart.com/art/…). There are some other really nice two-tiered ones, and a couple one-tier and three-tier ones as well. If we go bulk, everyone will have to get the same kind. But just let me know what kind you're interested in and we'll try to work things out.

So I moved into Texas a little less than a week ago (and Kiyo came yesterday...Ayu is a happy Ayu).

And now I have a new job. I'll be doing part-time work for Edible Arrangements (www.ediblearrangements.com), a company that makes fruit bouquets. They're beautiful, and incredibly delicious. I'll only be with them for Valentine's Day week, but it'll still be fun. I still can't really post work from my previous job because the catalog still hasn't been released yet. O_o

But I do have a couple samples and stuff that friends can view at my livejournal (soymilk-pudding.livejournal.co…).
